Therapies offered:Aromatherapy: Aromatherapy holistic massage combines the healing power of touch with therapeutic properties of pure essential oils. This truly relaxing therapy allows the body and mind to rebalance it self. Carrier oils and essential oils are selected and blended for each clients individual physical and psychological needs. The oils not only penetrate the skin having a healing effect on the body, but also the aromas quickly reach the area of the brain responsible for memory and emotions which is one reason for such a profound healing effect. Aromatherapy holistic facial massage: This truly relaxing and stress releasing facial massage treatment includes clensing and toning the face and neck before massaging the head, neck, shoulder's arms and hand's. Incorporating acupressure techniques to the face leaving the client both feeling and looking rejuvenated. Treatments are carried out using my own special blend of rejuvenating aromatherapy facial oils. Reflexology: Reflexology is a specialised therapeutic foot massage. A deeply relaxing therapy where by pressure is applied to reflex points on the feet which correspond to areas of the body. Reflexology facilitates healing by releasing toxins and restoring a free flow of energy through the bodies meridians, calming and relaxing restoring balance to the body and mind. Conditions Aromatherapy and Reflexology may help relieve are: Stress, tension, headaches, migraines, anxiety, depression, insomnia & fatigue. Digestive & respiratory problems. Eczema & psoriasis. Hormonal imbalances such as PCOS, PMT, menstrual & menopausal irregularities. Sub fertility & preconceptual problems. Pregnancy & postnatal care and many more acute and chronic conditions. Baby Massage Instruction: The gift of loving touch can be beneficial for both parents and baby, helping emotionally and physically. Massaging your baby helps with: This one easy to learn massage session is great for both mum's and dad's and can prove invaluable for dad's when trying to support a tired and hormonally stressed mum. Each person will receive a copy of my Baby Massage Guide which includes the massage sequence and hint's & tips. So no need to make notes just relax and enjoy the time with your baby. You will also receive a 30ml bottle of my baby massage aromatherapy oil, blended to relax and sooth your baby during your special time. Swedish Massage: Swedish massage is a therapeutic massage which incorporates invigorating tapotement into it's sequence, which stimulates the body improving blood and lymph flow which improves circulation. The increased blood flow to the muscles and nerves have a relaxing yet stimulating effect. An ideal pre or post exercise massage. The therapy is carried out with carrier oils suited to the individuals clients skin type and needs, or with my own aromatherapy sports massage blend of essential oils. Indian Head Massage: Indian head massage is a relaxing non invasive seated massage therapy, which has the ability to relieve the body and mind of the effects of stress and tension. This therapy may help to relieve muscular aches and tension, headaches, eyestrain and congested sinuses, by massaging the upper back, shoulders, arms, neck, head and face. Concluding the treatment with my own blend of aromatherapy essential oils to the scalp and hair should the client wish. The oils blended are excellent for stimulating and clearing the mind and in helping with the treatment of Alopecia areata. On-Site Seated Massage: On-site massage is a relaxing non invasive massage carried out on a stress back chair designed specifically for this therapy. The massage has the ability to relieve the body and mind of stress and tension, helping to improve circulation, soothing and relaxing the muscles and nervous system by massaging the back, shoulders, arms, hands, neck and head using the palms of my hands, thumbs and elbows. Work Place Therapies: I offer local companies and organisations the opportunity for their colleagues to enjoy the benefits of complementary health care in their work place. Stress management has become very popular, with many companies acknowledging stress as becoming the number one cause of lost days at work. Whilst small amounts of stress are good for us causing short bursts of adrenaline, helping to get us motivated and face new challenges. Frequent stress over a long period of time can manifest it self in many negative psychological ways. Treatments offered are: Reflexology, Indian head massage and On-site seated massage. These three therapies are all non invasive making them ideal for the work place.(See above for individual therapy descriptions) Mini Pamper Parties: I offer my clients the opportunity to host either pamper evenings or coffee mornings for their friends and family. The host invites a few friends round and whilst they catch up and chat they get the opportunity to have a relaxing treatment of either: Reflexology, Indian head massage, On-site seated massage or an Aromatherapy facial massage. I can also arrange for a beauty therapist to provide manicures, pedicures and waxing should the host so wish. (See above for individual therapy descriptions) These informal parties have proved to be a excellent way to introduce friends and family who are unsure of complementary therapies and of making the first move towards experiencing the benefits of a therapy, many guests often become regular clients them selves. Home-care plus: Home-care plus is a additional service I offer clients who are concerned about their families health and wellbeing. This service includes a home visit and an accompanied shopping trip, looking at the nutritional value of their day to day diets, the harmful chemicals in the products and household cleaners they use. Making recommendations on what they can do and get started on a healthier more environmentally friendly lifestyle. For further information see: |
